If you dream of a barn wedding with elegant touches, today's real wedding of Jenna and Robert is the perfect inspiration.  The pair choose Jenna's family farm in Alabama (yes, I have been singing the song all day too) to celebrate with an outdoor ceremony and barn reception and when I say the farm was pretty epic, I mean it, so much so it made me add Alabama to my travelling bucket list! With the incredible back drop the couple set about planning a intimate and relaxed reception using family heirlooms and a classic colour combination of white and pale green. If all that wasn't enough, bride Jenna donned the most stunning Claire Pettibone gown which will having you swooning all morning. Robert and Jenna met while Jenna was standing in line at a New Years eve party... It was a classic boy meets girl,boy tells girl a joke and girl is forever smitten story. We spent the rest of the night talking and we have been together ever since.

Bride Jenna is straight out of a whimsical fairytale in her lace Claire Pettibone wedding gown. The stunning dress has lace, ribbon and embroidered details and is the perfect gown for today's elegant outdoor wedding.

Robert put his love into words and sang Jenna a song she'd never forget...We were celebrating our second anniversary when Rob wrote and played a song that he had written for me. A the end of the song he got down on one knee and proposed. We framed the song lyrics and the music he wrote, it's safe to say it's my favourite song ever!

The pair choose to have their ceremony outside and look at the stunning location...

The day was everything we ever imagined and more. It was fitting that both our families flew in from around the country to surround us and celebrate with us. We felt that the whole day was about our families as well as us, coming together and celebrating the best thing in life, love!

We wrote our vows ourselves and this was the most important part of the day for us by far! I barely made it through mine I cried so much from all the sweetness!

Have you fallen inlove with Jenna and Roberts wedding venue? The landscape is stunning so I'm sure your curious about the venue itself. Well it's actually Jenna's family farm which is outside Huntsville in Alabama. The farm has been in Jenna's family for over 200 hundred years and it's where she grew up, so it was incredibly special to celebrate her wedding to Robert there... The farm represents endurance of love family and commitment, the perfect place to marry your soul mate.

For the reception great music and food were top of the list other than that we just wanted to keep it simple and intimate using vintage heirlooms and elegant touches.

The couple hired wedding planners Inspiring Awe Events to look after their reception decor and it is just what they dreamed of, beautiful white tables, with vintage charm and elegance in a barn setting.

How sweet are the cotton plant buds? They are a sweet addition to the elegant white and green theme.

What advice would you give to brides and grooms planning their day? Keep it simple. the whole day moves so quickly and can feel like a blur. You want to keep it simple so you can focus on what matters most, you're marrying your soul mate so soak in every moment of the day, the smells, the smiles,the hugs, everything because it goes so fast!
