If you fancy yourself as a little bit of a Lady of the Manor, or a modern day Princess bride then you should love our hot bridal trend this evening... We've have been spotting a vintage look popping up here and there, and we love it: Bridal Tiaras. No, we haven't lost the plot - this isn't gypsy weddings/Katie Price territory, it's much more subtle. In fact it was inspired by the holy trinity of Kate Middleton, Blair Waldorf and the beloved Lady Mary in Downton Abbey. She more than any, really inspired a look for a few beautiful understated diamonds as a crowning glory while you walk the aisle...
To prove tiaras can and are coming back we've gathered some gorgeous options and a few tips for pulling off the princess look...
See? Not so much OTT diamond diva, but more pretty luxe and elegant. The new tiaras are more understated than traditional bridal crowns, they can be more classic formal or relaxed and boho, but if considering this look really think how it will suit your bridal style. A tiara should complement, and not overpower your look, and it should also suit your face shape and hairstyle you will be wearing on the day.

How to wear a Tiara (as if you didn't know...)
- The tiara should be slightly leaning forward but not at a right angle and you do not wear it flat to your head like a hair band.
- There is a quick trick from Fine Jeweller Andrew Prince to help you sit your tiara perfectly on your head - "Put your thumb on your chin, and your index finger on the bridge of your nose, between your eyebrows. Take that measurement, and put your thumb where your index finger was. Where your finger now touches your head should be where the base of the tiara is, because it makes your eyes the centre of your face."
- Most of all, make sure that the style you chose is comfortable and attached securely, you don't want to be fiddling with it the whole day.
