Together for many years and with two beautiful daughters Ronan and Louise knew they wanted to spend their lives together, and to celebrate this love with a small and intimate wedding that involved their two girls. To encapsulate these ideas they decided on a unique Celtic wedding ceremony outdoors at The Millhouse with their girls taking part in different elements. Ronan and Louise first met as teenagers, shared a few kisses and went their separate ways. A few years later they bumped into each other again - now they've been together for 11 years and have two lovely little daughters.

A year after the birth of their first daughter Ronan proposed, Louise sweetly told us "there was no doubt in my mind that this was the man for me!"

Choosing to do something different Ronan and Louise had a Celtic pagan ceremony outdoors at The Millhouse which Louise described for us..."The ceremony was very personal and included drinking mead from a goblet and having a sword placed in the goblet. Each represented a symbol of our union. We had a beautiful blessing and made our pagan handfasting vows. We had both our daughters involved in the ceremony, the youngest Sophia giving us our rings and our eldest Mia helping tie our handfasting cords."

The gorgeous Millhouse was the location for both the ceremony and reception which Ronan and Louise loved from beginning to end. As Louise recalls..."From the first visit to the Millhouse we knew we didn't want anywhere else! From the fantastic staff to the beautiful surroundings we couldn't have wished for anything else, it is a truly magical venue."
