Upstyle Funk aka Mags is a bridal hairstylist who prides herself on incredible service. Offering a full bridal experience 'from trial to aisle', she ensures her clients not only have gorgeous hair, but that they enjoy the entire experience with lots of  laughs, professionalism and a relaxed atmosphere.

Not a traditional salon-based hairdresser, Upstyle Funk is strictly specialised and highly-trained in bridal and special occasion hair which means she hones her skills and creates show-stopping looks, every single day. With a passion for learning, Mags is constantly up-skilling and training with some of the best stylists in Europe.

From collaborating with you on your wedding day look, to ensuring the smooth running of your wedding morning, Upstyle Funk really listens to what a bride wants and gives honest advice in how to achieve your dream look for your big day.

I had the absolute pleasure of having Mags of Upstyle Funk as part of my prep team the morning of my wedding. If you are getting married you NEED Mags to be part of your day! She goes above and beyond for her brides and their bridal party. Not only is Mags unbelievably talented (which is clear to see from the pics) she brings the CRAIC! She had everyone in stitches, including my Dad who hadn’t a clue what to expect as I was the first of the family to get married. Mags was doing up buttonholes telling the bridesmaids/my Mam when they needed to go get dressed, sorting out the flowers, doing up my dress...the list goes on. Most importantly. she made us all feel at ease on the morning. I could not recommend Upstyle Funk more if you’re looking for a fabulous wedding hair stylist. Mags was so professional and did such an amazing job on myself and my bridesmaids recently. Everyone commented on our hair during the day! We had so much fun with Mags the morning of, she calmed a rather nervous bride right before her walk down the aisle! I honestly can not recommend Upstyle Funk enough for wedding or event hair (and coordinating the morning of your wedding!), Mags is a true wedding professional. She has the perfect balance between professional and personal, and Caitlin and herself joined in with the laughs/chats/fun on the day perfectly (some of my fave memories are from the morning of). I barely had to tell Mags what I wanted for myself and the bridal party but the styles I had imagined for months were exactly what I got and made everyone feel so amazing! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mags for any upcoming weddings or events.
