Unusually for a country house Rathsallagh also has its own award winning, in-house catering team, removing the stress of finding and hiring an external caterer - and ensuring your guests enjoy the very finest cuisine.

Catering for weddings large and small, the guest list limit for Rathsallagh is a generous 250, and 50 for smaller weddings.

All about the little extras, whether your wedding is big or small, Rathsallagh will ensure your every whim is covered and offers helpful additions of it's own in-house wedding band & DJ, and free wedding insurance to all UK and Ireland couples.

Thank you all so much for an amazing 2 days myself and John spent with yourselves for our recent wedding. It was a pleasure to deal with you Trish and lots of planning and organising was very obvious to see on both days and every little request I had asked you about was dealt with. From the moment we arrived on the Thursday afternoon we were all very well looked after. Nothing was a problem, all the girls were so helpful and attentive. We had a very enjoyable steak night on the Thursday night. The children loved their food and the freedom that afternoon they had, they were also very impressed with their bedrooms. The little touches which included Trish bringing sandwiches to our room while we were getting ready on the Friday morning and also when we arrived back from the church, she came up to myself and my sisters in the room with some canapés was so thoughtful. Our guests since the wedding have been raving about Rathsallagh House saying it was the best wedding they were ever at.

Rathsallagh exceeded our expectations in every way. We really found no faults here, from the venue, to the staff, to the food - it was exceptional. They sell their venue as a family home and it really comes across, we met the owners several times over the weekend we were there and all of their staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, but also looked after at every turn. The quality of staff and service they offer is second to none; not only are they all so helpful and friendly but you can tell they enjoy their jobs and are very happy working at Rathsallagh; a unique selling point in my opinion! All of our guests raved about the wedding meal; they couldn't believe the beef was cooked to order for each guest, there was so much talk about the canapés and the wine that was served. One of our guests is a recipe developer from New York and she is already trying to re-create the delicious brown bread we had for breakfast. The other big topic of discussion was the beautiful bedrooms; each one different but equally comfortable and luxurious. We were so lucky as we had absolutely fabulous weather and really got to see Rathsallagh in all of it's glory, looking back now on our photos I am again blown away by how beautiful the hotel and grounds are. We really cannot speak highly enough about Joe and the wedding team at Rathsallagh, from our very first enquiry to the last moment at checkout the wedding team went out of their way to give us 5-star treatment. We can't wait to go back and reminisce about all the wonderful memories we have of Rathsallagh and our wedding day; it truly is a special place!
