Marcela's service isn't a typical wedding service, it's a one-of-a-kind live wedding painting experience - a rare and wonderful way to capture the beauty of your wedding day in real time.
How does it work?
A few weeks before the wedding, Marcela will hop on a video call with her clients to discuss the vision of their painting (or if they'd like her to take creative control). During this call, Marcela will talk through the scene, poses and other details her clients may wish to have featured e.g if they'd like a pet included in the painting etc.
On the wedding day, Marcela will arrive an hour or two before guests so that the painting is underway when everyone arrives. During the moment her client's have chosen to capture, Marcela will take photos and videos to use as reference throughout the day.
Throughout the day, Marcela will try to take as little of your time as possible so she will try to jump in with the photographer for this step. She will then spend the evening painting and chatting to guests about her process as they please. This is a big part of the fun!
At the end of the night the painting will be mostly complete and that's when Marcela will share a glimpse of the painting with the bride and groom (photographers and videographers can capture this moment too, if they're still around). She will then take the painting back to her studio for touch ups, finer details, varnishing and framing before sending it back to the couple to hang in their forever home.
