We went to see a few places when we were choosing a wedding venue but we fell in love with Crover House instantly. The surroundings, the view overlooking Lough Sheelin, and the little touches around the hotel such as the Fairy Fort, the wishing well, the arches down to the water and the log cabin just set it apart from anywhere else we had viewed. We were originally due to get married on 9th April. Unfortunately Mick had a cardiac arrest on 6th April. Thankfully he was saved and recovered well but the wedding had to be postponed. Paula, Aideen and everybody were so accommodating and understanding. They even refunded some money we paid and said we could just pay again once we booked a new date. They really made a stressful situation, less stressful and were so kind in every interaction with us. Our wedding finally went ahead in November. It was a really special day. Lots of guests since told us how beautiful and picturesque the venue was and how friendly, warm, welcoming and professional the staff were. Guests told us that they would be come back to Crover House and stay for a night or two. Our suppliers told us how great the hotel was too and we have the most beautiful photos from the day too. The hotel is dog friendly so welcomed our dog & Karen's sister's dog too! The day was full of small surprises, the Christmas decorations were stunning, all the staff went above & beyond for us & we couldn't praise or thank them more. We will always have really fond memories of Crover House and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

Crover House went over and beyond to ensure that both myself and my husband had the wedding day that we both dreamed of. We had our ceremony and reception all at Crover House and it was the best day of our lives. We had our ceremony outside as the weather was amazing and the scenery and views at Crover House are unbelievable. Our reception ran so smoothly! There was no hanging about, everything went ahead on time and the staff and food were all amazing! Nicest food I have ever tasted and the most friendly, attentive staff I have ever encountered. Before we got married, we had a wedding at Crover House and it was from that wedding, we both knew that if we were ever to get married that Crover House would without a doubt be our wedding venue for all the reasons mentioned above! My favourite place by far!

Crover House were amazing for our wedding from start to finish and in all aspects and we couldn't recommend them enough! From the start, they made everything easy and nothing was too much trouble, including the fact we had to postpone our wedding twice due to covid, they made that process easy and there were no issues changing dates. They were very flexible with all aspects of the timeline and day, letting us make the day what we wanted. The location and venue itself is absolutely stunning, both inside and outside. We didn't need to go anywhere else for photos as there were so many beautiful locations for photos (inside and throughout the beautiful grounds) and we were blessed with great weather that meant amazing photos over the lake! The staff, led by Aideen and Paula, both in the lead up and on the day, were so helpful and great to work with, making our day so special and personal to us.
