It's Friday so it must be time for this week's Wedding Stuff We Love. This week we've an eclectic mix, from handmade wedding photograph albums to weddings on a boat in Fermanagh via an amazing wedding dress that would make even Kate Middleton gasp...
An etsy discovery during the week these amazingly gorgeous handmade silk and lace wedding albums are almost too beautiful to handle. Covered in hand-dyed duponi raw silk with lace detailing, each one is a work of art and the perfect place to store your treasured wedding photographs. Check out the range of colours and details, each individual at Art by Chapin.
Another amazing work of art is this wedding dress fashioned from 3500 fresh flowers and crystals by florist Karen O'Hara of Vow Floral. The special commission was done in partnership with House of Fraser in celebration of the Royal Wedding and is on display at the Victoria Square centre in Belfast. Don't get any ideas ladies - this gorgeously flamboyan creation is valued at £25,000, but maybe check out the rest of Karen's floral portfolio for something more affordable in wedding flowers!
For those of you who fancy getting married on the water, here's a fun alternative venue - how about having your wedding on a boat? Travel just north of the border to Fermanagh and you can do just that - exchange your wedding vows on the beautiful Lough Erne on the Share Inishcruiser. The specially kitted out wedding boat is licensed to carry up to 57 persons including staff. Share has a full wedding planning service and can arrange everything from your perfect wedding menu to having your wedding registrar on board.
And in case you needed any further persuading, Share is actually a non-profit enterprise, working for the inclusion of disabled and non disabled people by providing opportunities for all to participate in a wide range of educational, recreational and creative arts programmes. Share operates Northern Ireland's largest activity and outdoor centre, with over 60 acres of great facilities on the shores of Lough Erne. And now one of Ireland's most alternative and cool wedding venues.
