When our editor Naoise tied the knot in 2012, finding pretty lighting for her outdoor marquee wedding* that she had spotted all over Pinterest and the American blogs was like trying to find gold dust. Eventually, she bit the (expensive) bullet and bought it directly from the USA. Luckily, now there are a few spots in Ireland and the UK that you can get your hands on the coveted festoon lighting (also known as tivoli lighting) that you can hire. We'd recommend renting or hiring than buying as it can work out very costly unless you plan on reusing them again and again outdoors at your home etc. With that in mind I went on the hunt to find the best places to find wedding festoon lighting in both Ireland and the UK to sparkle at your celebration!
*If you are hiring a marquee some hire companies can also offer festoon lighting as an optional extra so ask if this is an option.
