In my book, a wedding can never have too much colour, which is why I'm so excited to bring you this vibrant inspirational shoot from Gusmank Wedding Photography and their team of talented creatives. Shot in The Legian, a highly glamorous resort in Bali, it's full of tropical wedding inspiration and styling tips for couples who want to create a bright and airy feel for their big day, but still keep it chic and timeless! Expect luxe florals, pretty tablescapes and two dynamite wedding gowns. Oh, and if this shoot doesn't make you long for an outdoor ceremony, nothing will!
This colourful bouquet is the first of many gorgeous arrangements by Petals By Puri. We love how they combined pale pinks, yellows, oranges and purples in one pretty posy.
The first set-up of the day was an elegant tea ceremony, inspired by the Chinese wedding tradition. "We used an area that sits right outside one of the suites at The Legian," the Gusmank photography team tell us. "We celebrated the richness of this custom through porcelain vases and red flowers."
This stationery suite cleverly mixes contemporary and traditional designs for a fresh feel! The planning and styling team at Chere Weddings chose cool blues and pale purples, which are just perfect for a seaside wedding!
Didn't we tell you that the ceremony set-up was magical!? That Indian Ocean view is hard to beat, but actually, any seaside space would look incredible dressed up with ghost Chiavari chairs, tie dye pillows and generous floral arrangements.
Chere Weddings kept things contemporary by using a ceremony backdrop with a geometric print and adorning it with bright, asymmetrical florals.
Both gowns for this shoot were sourced from Gaeta Bridal Couture in Bali, and both are bringing the drama with delicate illusion lace.
This is a gown fit for a princess! The elaborate veil is giving us serious Priyanka Chopra vibes, too.
The team expanded the colour palette for the reception space décor. "The dinner set-up had a more vibrant look. We used flowers that we could find locally, such as orchids. We also brought in special wedding favours, including scented wax decorated with pieces of dried flowers, which aptly matched the table setting décor."
The team add that they wanted to create a look that was "not overly lush and that would reflect what a modern bride wants. We thought vibrant colors were the way to go and so we included pressed flowers and acrylic for a contemporary feel."
What a deliciously extravagant tablescape! Thanks so much to Gusmank Wedding Photography and the whole team behind this dreamy shoot for sharing it with us. It's given us tonnes of ideas!
