Our Top Tips for Pressed Flower Wedding Stationery & Décor

  • If you're opting for lots of pressed-flower wedding décor and stationery, it's best not to stress yourself out with DIY. Instead, get in touch with one of our recommended stationers or planners and stylists who'll be happy to create something special for you!
  • If you're taking on a smaller project, you can press your own flowers using a traditional flower press or by proceeding as follows: choose the flowers you wish to press (avoid ones that have had recent contact with water), place the flowers between two pieces of parchment paper and leave them under a heavy book for 10+ days.
  • The Budget Savvy Bride has a fantastic tutorial for making your very own pressed flower wedding stationery.
  • It's worth learning which flowers press better than others. Undesirable flowers lose their colour during the drying process or become muddy.
  • If you don't want to DIY your own, you can also buy pressed flowers online from Etsy or Amazon and specialist dried flower companies such as Daisy Shop.
