Flower Dudes, Flower Grannies and Flower Grandads:
We love this idea so much, we wanted to share a list of ways real couples have used it in their wedding. Enjoy!
1. When it came time to tie the knot, US couple Kaitlin and Christopher decided to make their grandmas a big part of their special day by asking them to serve as co-flower girls!
2. Kleenex please! Emilie Voss and Ben Bohland didn't have children at their 2015 wedding, so the bride asked her 95-Year-Old Grandma, Alice Wheaton, to be her flower girl and the groom asked his grandpa Jerry to be the ring bearer!
3. We think every wedding needs a flower man!
4. How adorable is Flower Grandpa Stanley? The 85-year-old took on the role of designated flower girl for his granddaughter Jennifer's wedding to her now-husband, Austin.
5. Rocking fairy wings, a wand, and flower crown, Bride Keely’s grandma stole the show as a flower girl!
6. Carrying antique silver baskets, wearing pearls and big smiles, we love how grannies Nancy "Grongong" Rutchik, and Flossie "Grammy" Pack, rocked their granddaughter Lucy's wedding to new husband Kyle - as flower girls!
7. Here come the flower men! Bride Alysa and Groom Aaron chose their pals to be their flower men, and we think they look fabulous!
8. Bridesmaids come in all ages! Louise's gorgeous Granny is proof!
9. After his friends Danial and Amanda asked him to be their flower girl, Jake Clark took on the role very seriously, complete with three bum bags for maximum leaf tossing!
10. When Taylor and Stuart got married, they decided to ask their grandparents to help in a special way – by making them flower girl and ring bearer for the day!
11. Every wedding needs a Flower Dude like Colorado couple Jackie and Levi had!
12. Joyce, 75, grandma of bride Maggie, and Drue, 74, grandma of groom Josh Wakefield, are proof that there's no age limit on the role of flower girl!
13. For their special day, US couple Chelsea Blair and Joe Garrity chose each of their grandmothers to be the “flower grandmoms” in place of flower girls.
14. When Lumina Resnick and Christopher Panna got married in 2017, they knew they didn’t have many young girls in the family that could fill the flower girl spot. So, scrapping the role altogether, they asked Christopher’s 91-year-old great aunt Gaetana (Tina) Ramagnano to take on the very important job of “Queen of Flowers” instead!
15. Instead of a traditional flower girl, this couple went with a flower dude, complete with his very own flower dude fanny pack!
16. Lucky enough to have multiple grandmas in your life? We love how this couple made them all flower girls for their ceremony!
