Brides and grooms-to-be were treated to a glamorous afternoon of style and inspiration at The Wedding Showcase in association with Benetti Menswear and One Fab Day. Set in The Dean Dublin, guests got to experience the magic of the new bridal suite The Marshall Room and imagine what their big day could be like there as it was styled to perfection with everything from stunning tablescape décor to dancefloor-beckoning entertainment. Hosts Rebecca Shekleton of 98FM's The Big Breakfast and One Fab Day Editor Jess O'Sullivan were joined by a panel of leading wedding experts who unravelled the secrets to crafting the perfect wedding.
First up, best dressed was a very important element of wedding planning: the wardrobe! With an ultra-chic bespoke cocktail created by The Dean on the menu, aptly entitled The Vow, guests took their seats for the bridal and groomswear 101 masterclass.
Brides-to-be had the opportunity to browse a selection of gorgeous gowns from The White Room who are exclusive stockists of coveted designer labels. With a selection of stunning jewellery and accessories on offer, from baroque pearls to chunky gold hoops, there was a style to make every bride in the audience swoon.
Luke Thomas and The Swing Cats set the tone for the stylish masterclass as they performed a crowd-pleasing selection of wedding day hits. Their spine-tingling, toe-tapping rendition of L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole in particular cast a spell on the audience!
The panel of experts included Aisling McVeigh, founder of boutique consultancy agency Danu Collective. As specialists in bespoke events, luxury brand storytelling and destination weddings, she offered planning and décor advice for brides and grooms on how to craft an unforgettable celebration that will be cherished forever.
