Another week over and almost time to hit the pub for a post-work Bank Holiday G&T but before we go just a quick round up of the fab stuff that caught our eye(s) this past week. This week we found lots of gorgeous new-to-us jewellery from a talented bunch of different designers, as well as some very original historically-inspired dresses and beautiful head and hair pieces for every kind of bride.

If you dream of being a Princess Bride (literally) then Romantic Threads may be the perfect place

for you to find your dream historical wedding dress. The designs are quirky and original, mainly based on historical costumes or themes. Every conceivable style of fantasy dress is covered from from the renaissance to Marie Antoinette,  victorian to flapper.

If your taste is a little more understated, and elegance is your thing then you'll love Abigail Percy's jewellery designs. Her jewellery collection features pieces with great twists on motifs from nature: leaves and flowers.  And while made of gold and semi-precious stones, the prices from £50 - £150 are very reasonable, perfect for a bride or as a gift for a bridesmaid.

I spend a lot of time in Oxford, and so a company name like Bride's Head Revisited is bound to make me sit up and pay attention. I was not disappointed - Bride's Head Revisited make exquisite hair accessories, from hair bands and clips, to combs and french veils like the fab one pictured. Bride's Head Revisited are based in New York but you can find their bridal accessories in Ireland at Rangoli Jewellery, our next fave of the week.

The delicate bracelet pictured above (number 1) is a bespoke piece made by Aisling Nelson at Rangoli Jewellery for a client. I saw, I loved, I coveted is all I can say. Based in Dublin, Aisling has a full showroom featuring lots of pieces from hair accessories to jewellery, but also makes pieces to order. It's by appointment only, and frankly I'm afraid to make one for fear I won't be able to contain myself and buy everything!

Last but not least we have the Vintage Sparkle Company (number 2) who have the most amazing treasure trove of vintage jewellery and accessories. So whether you're looking for 50s diamante necklace or 40s pearls, these guys will have it for you, and at a very reasonable price I might add, prices range from £10 - £90.

Have a great weekend, enjoy the Bank Holiday!
