Can't believe we're at the end of another week - where is the time flying? - so it's that time again: time for a little round up of lovely wedding items we found to share with you.

Before that though, I wanted to say a big Thank You to Sue for all her hard work this week beautifying the blog - I didn't lift a finger as have no talents in the coding dept. We really hope you like the improved navigation and extra design. Please do let us know your thoughts, we're always looking to improve, and feedback is the only way we can know what you want.

So onto the main business...

Design Your Own Perfect Pair of Shoes

I love shoes. The fact I have 60 pairs and no decent shirts is testament to the fact. That's why I love and fear our special find Shoes of Prey in equal measure.  Shoes of Prey offer a bespoke shoe design service, with a difference - You are the designer!! That's right you can design your own pair of shoes from the heel height, the toe style, the colour, the material, the decoration, everything. You play a little computer design game (bit like MS paint) and pick what you want. Place the order and hey presto, 6 weeks later you have a pair of perfect originals. Shoes of Prey cost between about €145 and €230 - worth every penny if you ask me. And - they do gift vouchers. I'm in heaven.

Handmade Wedding Invitations With That Personal Touch

We got a lovely email during the week from Julie Quinn of Bandido Originals - she'd heard about us from Aisling in Rangoli Jewellery. After having a look through her collection we just had to feature her lovely handmade wedding invitations.  As she says herself "My aim has always been to design unique wedding stationery but with a personal touch by getting to know the Bride and exactly how she wishes to set the tone for her big day through the stationery." Her work is elegant, high-quality (I was invited recently to a wedding using one of her designs), but I think this effort to maintain the personal touch is what sets her apart. And the icing on the cake is that Julie is currently offering 20% off  on her designs, so pop over to her website Bandido Originals to have a closer look.

For Those With A Sweet Tooth Or Two

Cannaboe Confectionery is a boutique bakery specialising in wedding and special occasion cakes run by Sharon Sweeney and based in Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim. Sue came across Sharon's sweet delights during the week and we just had to post some pics. Sharon has a great selection of cupcakes including big giant ones. Let us know how they taste, we haven't had the pleasure yet.

P.S. Sharon also has a chocolate shop and you can order online - hand me the credit card!
