It's Freeday peeps and that time of the week - getting ready for a weekend of wedding shopping and searching? Our Stuff We Love should get you in the mood - nothing like a bit of window shopping on a boring Friday morning...
If you're on the search for bridal accessories or pretty things for bridesmaids then have a look at the collection of Untamed Petals. They have gorgeous hair accessories like those above - the three strand hairband is a particular favourite. They also have a gorgeous collection of beaded and be-ribboned belts. If getting simple bridesmaids dresses a beautiful belt or sash would really add a little pizz-azz.
Biba was the epitome of London fashion during the 60s and 70s - the iconic label was the height of high street chic, with its muted autumnal colours and shorter than earthy hippy vibe. It closed at the end of the 70s only to be reborn in 2006. House of Fraser now own the label and it's going from strength to strength - leading to the launch last week of a limited edition collection of Biba Wedding Dresses. There are only 4 styles - Lily, Amber and Daisy are pictured above (you'll have to pop in store to see the Chloe). They each draw on a Biba style - from grecian 70s to mod-60s. Only 100 of each is being produced, and there will be some available in House of Fraser Dundrum so better get on that list...
Wedding invitations have come a long way in the last couple of years - the traditional cream and ribbon styles are still very popular in Ireland, but elsewhere there's been a distinct move towards more contemporary designs, either digitally printed or on letterpress (swoon). If you're unsure about what is available a great website called WeddingInviteLove.com is a brilliant place to browse and get a feel for the kind of things available - it's a directory of designers of all kinds so the choice is amazing. Will really start your imagination running wild...
Happy Freeday! Enjoy your weekend xx
