Almost too good to be true today's wedding film by Keepsake Films is a step back in time. One of the most authentic vintage weddings I've ever seen, Katherine and Thomas celebrated their timeless love for each other at the shabby chic The Prairie by Rachel Ashwell. Every element was meticulously thought through from Katherine and Thomas's outfits, both originally worn by their grandparents, to the cars, powder pink bridesmaid dresses and cohesive vintage styling. This truly is one of a kind.
Let's hear a little bit more about this magical couple..."The wedding was entirely inspired by the bride’s love and admiration for genealogy and precious family history. The couple love vintage style and things with a special story. Katherine chose to wear her dress for the third generation after her grandmother in 1958 and mother in 1982. In the style of times past, she changed into a going away dress first worn by the groom’s grandmother as her own going away ensemble in 1947. Thomas wore his grandfather’s 1947 wedding tuxedo too! All the jewelry and trinkets on the wedding day were family heirlooms. Katherine even wore a sixpence in her shoe that she was given while living in London. The couple honeymooned in Mexico and now live in Seattle, Washington."
Huge congratulations to you both and thanks so much for sharing your vintage wedding with us - we are in love! A big thank you also goes to Keepsake Films for sharing their work with us.
