Saturday Selection: Style, Romance and a Touch of Magic!

Four real weddings to inspire your own

Gorgeous dresses, fun ideas, and four entirely smitten couples. This week's Saturday Selection features four real weddings where glamorous style and romantic details reign supreme. But that's where the comparisons end. From hand-plucked blooms to Harry Potter cakes, to heirloom wedding dresses and a post-ceremony jaunt in a row boat, each of these couples had a sweet, loved-up occasion, but each one did it in a way that was personal to them. Scroll down to peruse their equally chic, but entirely unique celebrations...

Lakeside Chic: Marie Louise & Aidan

The style of this bride is making us swoon! The super chic Marie Louise married her other half Aidan with a ceremony at St Michael's Church in Enniskillen. The couple and their guests then moved on to the nearby Lough Erne Resort for one massive party. Marie Louise wore a gorgeous Zimmerman dress from Brown Thomas paired with Louboutins and a beautiful veil handmade by her aunt from Carrickmacross lace. The flowers were picked from the bride's garden and arranged by her mum. As you can see from the fun photos by Paula Donnelly Photography, this pair beamed all day long!

Love Spell: Róisín & David

Harry Potter fans will go berserk for Róisín and David's Castle Dargan wedding. This pair laced their day with Hogwarts-themed details, from books of spells and magic wands, to round specs and even a three-tiered Harry Potter wedding cake. The couple themselves look positively head over heels in their gorgeous photos by Wojciech Koza Photography.

A Countryside Castle Bash: Yvonne & Antony

Yvonne and Anthony planned their Kinnitty Castle wedding all the way from New Zealand where they were living with their son Gabriel until just weeks just before their wedding. Celebrating a fresh start in more ways than one, (the couple now live in Dubai), the pair held their ceremony at St. John the Baptist Church in Ballyfin before moving on to their reception in the Great Hall at the castle. All the sweet details of their day were captured by Carol Dunne Photography. In a gorgeous homage to her mother who had passed away a few years before, Yvonne wore her mum's dress from her own 1965 wedding. I think you'll agree, it's a pretty stunning wedding dress!

Glamour and Romance: Andrea & David

One look at Andrea's glamorous fur stole and you know this is going to be one stylish affair. Andrea and David said their vows at the atmospheric Multyfarnham Friary in Westmeath before heading up to Cavan for an elegant, yet cosy reception at Virginia Park Lodge. Their day was laced with beautiful florals and romantic details - the dreamiest of which has to be their boat ride portraits with photographers Sean and Kate.
