After a long working week I'm sure you're just as relieved as we are that it's finally the weekend! To celebrate, we are kicking it off in style with our weekly Saturday Selection. Here we bring you some lovely couples and beautiful images from their real weddings which we haven't featured in full but that you can feast your eyes on over on the photographer’s websites. This week we have a wonderful mix from all over Ireland so grab a cuppa, pop your feet up and get cosy...
Perfectly Personal at City Hall
Lesa and David wed at Dublin City Hall which provided a gorgeous and stately setting for their I-dos. The couple then held their reception at Radisson Blu St Helen's Hotel, and it was easy to see that the two of them had poured their love for each other into the wedding as well. The bride designed pretty and whimsical centrepieces and lots or personal little touches. A few tears flowed at the touching speeches followed by a fun filled night and danced the night away. Art Wedding Photography was on hand to capture all the lovely moments and you can see the wedding in full over on their blog.
The Best of Both Worlds
Dernagh and Alireza were married in the Espanlade Hotel on the Bray seafront. Their personal ceremony contained mixed Persian & Irish traditions, some beautiful readings and a celtic hand fasting ceremony. Afterwards Dernagh and Alireza took a walk along the seafront and at Powerscourt waterfall for some pretty portraits with their photographer Will O Reilly. Summerhill House Hotel was the venue for their reception with a wonderful table plan mapping the places around the world where they met, travelled and lived. See their day in full over on Will's blog.
Fun and Frolics at The Millhouse
An Emerald Isle Adventure
Sarah and Robert came all the way from sunny California to celebrate their big day out in Ireland where groom Robert's father hails from. The stunning Hagg's Head on the Cliff's of Moher was the location for the ceremony but despite a beautiful sunset the day before the weather was not ideal on the day. Robert and Sarah happily embraced the Irish weather and so the bad weather just became part of a great adventure! The heavy mist blocked the view of the cliffs but instead created a beautiful clean palette for some artsy portraits with Big Day Out Weddings photography. The lovely couple rounded off the day back in the local in Doolin where the guinness flowed long into the night! See their wonderful day in full on Big Day Out Weddings blog.
Thanks to all our lovely couples and their photographers for sharing snippets of their big days with us, we're really honoured to be able to feature you all. If you enjoyed this, have a look at the rest of our Saturday Selections and Real Weddings for more ideas...
