Sheeny shiny gorgeousness today in Stuff We Love, between gorgeous gunas with a bit of sparkle from Sarah Seven and fine jewellery and great bags from two very different Lous... Happy Freeday all!
For ladies who like a modern twist and a little sparkle, combined with old school glamour and a dash of soft feminity, then the bridal collection of American designer Sarah Seven will hold endless appeal. Sarah Seven wedding dresses are contemporary yet romantic, using vintage inspiration but modern techniques and cuts to bring a new look to a timeless tradition. Her bridal, special occasion and ready to wear collections are a beautiful arrangement of blossoming ruffles, delicate fabrics, and flowing layers.
Sarah Seven only uses natural fabrics, silk, wool, linens, cotton voile as well as recycled vintage fabrics to create her fabulous collection. Although based in the US, do not fret ladies, Sarah Seven is stocked exclusively in Ireland by Bella Bleu in Cork.
If you haven't been already, then a trip to Loulerie on Dublin's Chatham street is a must-do for any bride. A lovely treasure trove of a jewellery boutique, it is owned and run by Louise Stokes. Louise travels to Paris, New York and London to source the most current and fashion forward collections and designers each season and many of the collections are exclusive to Loulerie in Ireland. Perfect for picking up bridesmaid and MOB gifts (Naoise bought her BM Helena a gift here) as well as finding something unique and beautiful for yourself. And if you can't make it to the shop you can also check out some of the products online at www.loulerie.ie
Our second Lou, offers equally stylish but very different accessories - Louise O'Leary is the designer of Louloubelle Bags, a collection of silk, cotton and linen bags, all with contemporary styling that definitely sets them apart from high street lookalikeys. Louise originally studied study fashion design in Boston but came home to Ireland 8 years ago to develop her own line. Over the years the collection has grown and developed and the bags are now produced in an Italian atelier using traditional techniques from ethically sourced Tuscan leather. A limited edition collection of only 100 of each style are made each season, so a Louloubelle clutch would make an amazing unique and distinctive bridesmaids gift, or to spoil yourself the gorgeous satchel would look stunning paired with your honeymoon wardrobe!
Enjoy the picnic if you're heading down Boys and Girls (we won't be there, sniff, sniff - we'll be too busy working on our exciting shoot for the September Issue of One Fab Day Magazine!!)
