For the ladies who love the femininity of whimsical silhouettes, the elegance of lace and the beauty of delicate detailing, it has to be Rue De Seine. As a lover of all things French and feeling like Paris is my soul city, I have spent many an afternoon swooning over the Rue De Seine collections that elegantly encapsulate the city of love. Today we're taking a peek at the beautiful new collection 'Young Love'. It's everything I dreamed of and more and I know you'll love it too...
Some of the designs in the 'Young Love' collection show more daring patterns and embroidering like the 'Violet' gown created with hand-made cotton Battenburg lace and featuring a boat-neck neckline and capped sleeve, or the 'Colette' wedding gown which is made with hand appliquéd corded lace, overlaid onto a nude nylon mesh with cascading raw cut sleeves and embroidered godets (there's a new one for you! Ed). Both gowns have a form fitting silhouette with a fuller hem starting from the hip keeping the dress design feminine and elegant, the style we know and love Rue De Seine for.
Lace and embellishment play a huge role in the collection adding both delicate and statement details to the wedding dress designs. The 'Sadi' gown in particular has a beautiful jewel embellished and hand embroidered butterfly sleeve and along the deep V open back.
Layering of lace, tulle and silk is used in many of the skirts to give them delicate body while allowing the fabric to flow in a multiple of ways.
As you can see the designs are created with impeccable detail incorporating beautiful feminine designs and almost whimsical shapes together with practical and beautiful wedding dresses to suit many different shapes.
