Elegance is one of those elusive ideals that  is easy to spot but often very difficult to create. So today a great group of One Fab Day favourites show how professionals can make true elegance a reality - they make it look so effortless but that's what being a pro is all about. By bringing together the best of creatives for floral decoration, stationery, wedding dresses and cake design they show how it's done. Captured by  Tara Aherne, and styled by Lovebird Designs at the stunning Carton House in Kildare and featuring beautiful bridal gowns by Sarah Foy, behold how wedding pros can make the dream of effortless elegant luxury come true...

Photographer Tara explains the thoughts behind today's pretty in pink shoot: "With this shoot we wanted to express an easy, timeless, elegance that was in keeping with the stately atmosphere of Carton House. And our little flower girl added a warm, relaxed air of family bonds to the shoot."

To extenuate this feeling of relaxed elegance, Irish bridal designer Sarah Foy designed a variety of chic bespoke dresses for both bride and adorable little flower girl.

Sarah explains the design of each of the gowns: "The dresses I designed for this shoot at Carton House have a timeless classical elegance. Using soft silk chiffon, luxurious silk crepes I wanted our brides’ natural beauty to shine through. Using delicate lace embellishment to finish each piece with something special. For our flower girls’ dress made from silk satin crepe, I used a simple soft silhouette with fun feather detailed trim. Creating a fun but elegant style for the little ones of the wedding party."

The dresses were then accessorised simply with a fresh floral crown for the flower girl, and a pair of simple nude pumps to complete the bridal look.

All of the décor was kept equally simple and elegant with soft tones of dusty pink and an escort card table created by Ann from Citrus Ink. Not quite sure what escort cards are? Be sure to check out our escort card post for all the details.

The romantic elegant look was then completed with dainty stationery, rose pink macarons and delectable wedding cake by One Fab Day favourite Cocoamoiselle.
