Ever wondered what exactly a wedding fair has on offer and wish for a sneak peek before you head off with your hubby to be or gaggle of bridesmaids? Well today we are thrilled to be show you! Frock Around the Clock , 'Rock the Frock', takes place on Sunday, the 11th of May in Belfast. Rock the Frock is one of the foremost bridal fairs in Ireland showcasing vintage and hand crafted dresses, accessories, stationery, flowers, décor and inspiration, and to spread the word the Frock Around the Clock ladies got together with Campbell Photography and Grace & Saviour to put together a gorgeous shoot. Using dresses and accessories that will be at the fair, I know you ladies will love this sneaky peeky at what you'll be able to see in person, so start planning your trip to Belfast now...
The talented team led by Campbell Photography and the always gorgeous styling of Grace & Saviour had access to some of the most interesting and beautiful bridal fashion from the exhibitors of the fair to create this shoot. They wanted to bring together the local talents in a way that showcased the new directions in vintage, the potential glamour and the individual statement these items make.
The atmosphere at Rock the Frock on the day is both romantic and electric and you can see the same atmosphere in today's beautiful shoot at the stunning location, Crom Castle.
When it comes to bespoke vintage fairs I for one am always running to see the beautiful wedding gowns. Rock the Frock is filled with stunning designs and exhibitors ready to talk all things vintage and with one look at their stock you'll be swept away to a time long ago.
While the fair is vintage based, you can see how the vintage wedding dresses can be incorporated into the modern day by adding statement necklaces, jewelled peter pan collars and floral crowns (wait till you see the floral crowns!)
This original vintage wedding dress by Norma Jean Vintage is just too pretty, its delicate lace overlay is stunning and the skirt falls beautifully. By adding an oversized floral crown and fuchsia pink lips you can see how well the vintage gown is complimented by the modern touches.
A huge versatility of styles
I like how the team have incorporated a boho style floral headpiece with a long veil - How pretty is this look?
Florists and stationery suppliers will be show casing too, you can see the talents of Ditzy Floral Design , Arbee Card and Rubypeg in today's shoot.
One of the exhibitors, Alison Jane Couture shared two of her stunning gowns with the team for today's shoot. How amazing is this 1950s style silver two piece dress with a French lace top and a diamanté belt, plus it comes with a full circular cut ballet length skirt made from silver sparkle organza!
While the dresses from today's shoot are all beautiful I have a soft spot for this mint green one from Alison Jane Couture. The Pale eau de nil green ball gown skirt is incredible, light and oh so girly. It's made from silk taffeta with an over layer of silk organza with small silk ribbon bows scattered all over the skirt - Gorgeous!
How much do you guys want to go and see the real thing now? Well you're in luck because it's only 2 weeks away! Date for your diary: Sunday 11th May
