Stunning brides, gorgeous grooms, fab photography and romantic love stories from all over Ireland and beyond, what better way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon than with a little peek at four wonderful real weddings? This weekend, for a Bank Holiday Selection we've an eclectic bunch of lovely couples to share from Ohio to Dingle, we hope you feel the love the way we did...
From Ireland with Love
Aaron and Lisa travelled all the way from New Zealand to celebrate their big day on Irish shores. Groom Aaron is a Kiwi and Bride Lisa hails from Northern Ireland but now lives with Aaron in New Zealand. They celebrated their big day with a very small wedding party of their nearest and dearest which made for a beautiful and intimate ceremony in Belle Isle Castle. Photographer Chris Copeland made sure the couple had some beautiful and fun photos to remember Ireland by with some pretty portraits at Belle Isle and fun pub shots at Blakes of the Hollow in Enniskillen. The couple had a few games of pool with their best man and maid of honour while sampling and pouring some of the black stuff! Check out the rest of their day here.
Love is Sweet
Gena and Jason tied the knot last June at Dock 580, a cool loft style venue in Downtown Columbus, Ohio, USA. Bride Gena chose a pretty pastel palette for their big day which was a great contrast to this very urban venue where they had an intimate ceremony and reception with only their closest friends and family. The weather in Ohio was super hot that day so the bridal party along with their photographer Allison of Studio127 Photography stopped for some world famous Jeni's ice cream during their photos. Sounds like my kind of heat treat! You can see more of this fun wedding day here.
Magic Memories
Eoin and Colette celebrated their big day at Barberstown Castle. Their wedding was captured by Greg of IG Studio who spent lots of time with this loved up couple getting lots of fun, unique and artistic shots, perfect memories of their big day. From fun and frolics in the hotel lobby and lots of laughs at National Leprechaun Museum to epic nature shots surrounded by Autumn leave you just have to check out all of the magic portraits from their day. You can see them all over on IG Studios blog.
Happily Ever After
Sharon and Mark are both from Limerick and lived just 10 minutes a part growing up. They met in 6th year in secondary school and have been together for over 10 years. The pair are travel lovers and after leaving university they moved to Abu Dhabi for a while but are now living in Toronto. They married in last August in the beautiful town of Dingle Co Kerry. The pair said their I Do's in St Mary's church followed by a reception in the beautiful Ballintaggart House. Their day was captured by Darren Kirwan of DK Photography, check out the rest of Darren's work here.
