As the working week comes to a close it’s nice to sit back, put the feet up and do some relaxed wedding planning accompanied by a cuppa (or a glass of vino?!). This weekend we bring you four lovely couples and beautiful snippets into their special day. If you love the look of these sneak peeks you can then head over to the photographer's website to find out more... Enjoy!
Je t'aime à La Folie
Lucy & Sean’s wedding in the South of France was everything you could hope for with a destination wedding and more. Their amazing day took place in Dordogne at Chateau de Lacoste where great food, great wine and great company was the order of the day along with gorgeous French sunshine. This Modern Love were on hand to capture all the magic and you can see their sun filled day in full here.
Home Sweet Home
Having moved to Melbourne, Australia 7 years ago Cavan couple Elaine and Paul's return home for their castle wedding at Crom Castle, Fermanagh made it an extra special day for friends and family- even more special for the Aussie guests who are not used to castles! The Art deco theme of the exquisite beaded dresses, 1920's hair and makeup suited the surroundings perfectly. The day was planned to perfection and the couple deserve extra credit for planning most of it from the other side of the world (with some help from the families back home). A terrifically laid back and beautiful wedding topped off with some extra special images by Days of Roses Photography made it a day to remember! See the rest of their beautiful day in full over on The Days of Roses blog.
Festive Celebrations
Julia and David tied the knot in December last at St Munchin's Church. After the ceremony they went into the local pub, Mackeys for a few festive drinks followed by celebrations at Newpark Hotel Kilkenny. Between each course to keep people in the festive mood, Julia had left the words to Christmas carols on the tables, so each table could have a festive sing song! Such a lovely winter wedding idea. Their beautiful wedding was captured by Emma Russell Photography and you can see their day in full over on Emma's blog.
One Fine Day
The lovely Julie and Scott met while they were both on their own respective holidays with pals. Sparks flew and fast forward a couple of years to when they said I do back on the home turf here in Ireland. The pair choose Clonabreany House to celebrate their big day and Mark & Fiona Fennell from The Fennells Photography were on hand to capture all the amazing memories including their best friends singing as they danced their first dance as Mr and mrs.
