Continuing our week of wedding inspiration, today's styled shoot is a celebration of Irish design. Captured by Aoife O'Sullivan the shoot features an assortment of gorgeous wedding dresses - all made in Ireland - as well as beautiful accessories and flowers, with all the charm and grandeur of Rahinston House in County Meath as its backdrop. If you're still trying to find your wedding day style, this rundown might be the ideal inspiration you've been looking for.
Photographer, Aoife, tells us she searched for a venue with a unique vibe, “I didn’t want this shoot to be like any other. When we went to visit Rahinston House I was completely blown away! It is literally a photographers dream venue. It incorporates romance and beauty but has a side of edginess and a total wow factor as well!”
A touch of purple in bouquets is set to be a big trend for 2019, it pairs particularly well with silver dollar eucalyptus.
All the gorgeous gowns in the shoot came from WeddingDresses.ie, a new online bridal boutique, “Wanting to modernise the bridal industry and make it more accessible to the online customer, we’re an Irish company, based in Dublin. Our dresses are made in Ireland, and we ship worldwide”.
Perhaps one of my favourite looks from the shoot - this long sleeve lace look is so versatile, it works for different seasons, different styles of wedding, and different accessories.
The look and feel of the shoot was based around three distinct moods, boho, afternoon tea and vintage inspired. “Styled by The Wedding Festival and with images captured by the photographer Aoife O’Sullivan, this shoot embodies the romantic yet modern essence of the dresses.”
All the jewellery and accessories in the shoot are by Irish designers Chupi and Ali Vaughn Jewellery.
To tie in with the creative, mix and match feel of the shoot, the team created these contemporary monochrome tables with geometric patterns, industrial type, and splashes of gold.
The back of this vintage style wedding dress is so dramatic - perfect for pairing with a textured updo and some statement earrings.
So many chic ideas! Thanks so much to Aoife O'Sullivan Photography and the team behind this shoot for sending it our way.
