The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett is a book very close to my heart. It is a story I grew up to hearing before bedtime and the very book that inspired my final embroidery collection when graduating from design college. It's a simple story about finding something special, caring for it and watching it blossom, just like falling in love! As well as the sweet story there are lots of gorgeous details from the book that can be easily translated into wedding inspiration. Beautiful garden-style florals, old vintage keys and lady-like Edwardian style. With that in mind we rustled up a pretty palette to show you just how sweet a Secret Garden inspired wedding can be with soft pinks, beautiful natural greens and a hint of lavender all combining to create a romantic colour palette...
