For today's Saturday Selection, we're bringing you real weddings from three Irish couples who braved the elements on their wedding day for some incredibly cool outdoor portraits! Shooting outside is always a gamble, often a chilly one for the bride, but when you see the amazing photographs that these newlyweds got, you'll agree that it's worth the goosebumps!
On the Dock of the Bay: Louise & Dave
Food was always going to be at the heart of Louise and Dave's wedding - she's a vegan blogger and he's a restaurateur! - but their evening feast at Dromquinna Manor in County Kerry was merely the big finish of a showstopping day, captured here by Lucy Nuzum Photography. The couple were a little nervous about getting their photo taken, but we would never have guessed from these dreamy Kenmare Bay portraits!
All You Need is Love: Anne-Marie & Cillian
How loved-up are this gorgeous pair? Clearly, Anne-Marie and Cillian couldn't take their eyes off each other during their sunny Tankardstown House wedding, which was shot by Amber Baruch Photography. The couple's big day was full of surprises - a choir appeared at the ceremony to sing All You Need is Love by The Beatles, inspired by the scene from Love Actually, and after the meal, a group of fire and drum performers got the party started! We can't get enough of their romantic portrait session in the exquisite gardens of Tankardstown House, which you can see in full here.
Gone Fishin': Elaine & Damien
We do love a Galway wedding and Elaine and Damien's LOL-filled day, captured by Bronté Photography is our current fave! The bridal party had a photo session on the quay, drinking in beautiful views of the fishing boats and even spotting a rare black swan on the water! Elaine and Damien then took Bronté Photography on a walk to some of their favourite city spots for some colourful portraits, before partying the night away with their guests at The G Hotel. Swoon!
