By now everyone is beginning to notice that lovely stretch in the evening. Slowly, light is creeping back into our lives and spring is finally peeking through. Today we are celebrating this transition from darkness to light with a bright and fun colour palette ideal for a Spring or Summer wedding, or any event you have planned over the coming weeks. We have a playful and pretty mix of Orange, Yellow and Blue shades to kick off the wedding season and to inject a little ray of sunshine into your day...
How to create this look...
A range of orange shades, from bright and zingy to peach and blush were the base colours for this palette, which were then accentuated by yellow and light blue.
Decor: Whimsical details such as the balloons and ribbons and the subtle addition of the stripes in the stationary and in the groom style adds a little fun to the mix.
Flowers: Bright spring florals such as daffodils and tulips would work well in this palette, paired with blooms such as peach peonies and ranunculus as well as thistle to bring in hints of blue. Lots of greenery give it that lush springtime look.
Style: Stick to a paler palette; bright for the bridesmaids and fun colour combos for the groomsmen. For your own gown don't be afraid to try shades such as soft peach and nude like the gorgeous Carol Hannah gown above.
