Is there anything more indulgent than having a good old goo (and a bit of a swoon) over fabulous designer bridal gowns? From the budget-busting to the reasonably priced beauties, we do love discovering and sharing the best of the best bridal designers with you - hopefully it helps for inspiration when it comes to your own wedding dress. Today's gorgeous wedding gowns come from the wonderfully creative bridal designer Nicole Miller. The beauty and simplicity of her designs are all about adding a twist to the traditional, each is of exceptional quality with amazing attention to detail, and of course, when it comes to this level of couture, there's a healthy price tag to match. But hey, a girl can dream (or indulge if you have the sponds) so we gathered some of our favourite gowns from her Spring and Fall 2014 collection, hope you likey...
Based in America Nicole Miller is and has a huge amount of knowledge and talent behind her, from a degree in fine arts to a degree from l' École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture Parisienne in Paris! Impressed yet? I certainly was. Nicole combines her art training with couture techniques to create some truly beautiful designs. This, along with her French heritage, has given her a unique style and vision.
With gowns that have lace overlays, jewel embellishments and cut outs, each dress is unique. Designs like Nicole's take the elements of traditional wedding dresses combined with modern touches to create a gown that the modern bride would love to wear on their special day.
While I adore Nicole Miller's long dresses with elegant falling trains her short and chic designs are quite beautiful. Perfect for the bride who wants a contemporary take on a traditional wedding dress, or a second gown for the wedding reception (and all the dancing), Nicole Miller aptly names her short dress collection 'Cut the Cake Dresses' - How sweet!
As I mentioned at the start, a wedding gown from Nicole Miller, may not break the bank with short dress starting at about €500 and full length dresses starting at €2000. While she is based in America you can order online (yes, online) just be aware of delivery charges and make sure to check the returns policy on the Nicole Miller website. In the meantime you can find Nicole Miller designs at The Suite in Dublin and Bella Bleu in Cork.
