How to Get The New Boho Wedding Look..

  • The Stationery: Choose a simple suite rather than an ornate style, watercolour, feather details and textural card stock are all winners.
  • The Style: A boho style wedding dress is a no-brainer so look for lots of flowy lace, off the shoulder detailing and swoon-worthy sleeve gowns. Find inspiration from designers such as Grace Loves Lace, Odylyne the Ceremony, Rue De Seine and Daughters of Simone. Accessorise with hair chains and jewellery in bold sterling silver styles, crystal stones and thin gold rings for a gypsy-inspired aesthetic. Pair with a leather jacket or fringed kimono for when the evening gets chilly. For bridesmaids, mix match styles in lace or floral prints and pair with hair chains or flower crowns for a true boho look. For the guys, a simple look of just crisp white shirts, a skinny tie and chinos would be perfect.
  • The Flowers: You can be as eclectic as you like when it comes to choosing your flowers for this look but avoid anything overly pretty. Add in succulents, air plants and grasses such as Pampas Grass, Foxtail Barley or Bunny's Tail Grass for a textural look.
  • The Decor and Cake: Fill your space with lots of vintage furniture, textures such as Turkish and Moroccan wedding blankets, Macrame hangings, crochet laces and plenty of gold accents. If having your wedding outdoors, think tipis, festoon lighting and plenty of rugs for barefoot dancing under the stars! We also love the idea of an ethnic pattern, rug lined-aisle. For your cake, choose something un-fussy like a simple yet tasty white fondant, buttercream or drip cake creation or even a dessert/sweet grazing table full of treats.
