As much as I am a girly-girl who loves pretty pastels and really sweet feminine colour palettes, I'm also a big fan of bright and bold punchy shades, especially in weddings - when couples take risks and go big on the design front for their wedding. Let's be honest, sometimes we girls get carried away when picking a theme or colour palette and end up with Pinterest boards overloaded with bubblegum pink inspiration and not a lot else (guilty as charged)! So today, I'm stepping out of that frothy world and opting for something more contemporary and artsy with a monochrome and colour wedding palette - one that a groom might feel more comfortable with. This fun look combines bright primary colours from gorgeous flowers and a mix of monochrome patterns such as stripes and checker to give the look a modern edge. Think of it as Andy Warhol & Martha Stewart's wedding love child...
