A really incredible team of international wedding creatives came together for today's modern wedding inspiration shoot feature, which was all about a light, airy, cloud-like theme. Perfect for those planning an early spring wedding, it features a neutral colour palette infused with the palest spring-like pastels paired with layers upon layers of gorgeous texture and contemporary details. Each detail was thoughtfully chosen from the rough edge stationery suite and delicate branches, to the cutlery, crystals and air plants. It also features one of our favourite floral trends for 2021 - flower cloud installations, a look we're head over heels for! Our favourite detail? The cake-table-meets-cotton-candy-bar which features signature cocktails, a delicate rose petal cake and sparkling cotton candy treats! Feel free to steal some of these modern ideas for your own spring wedding with all the pretty imagery captured by Chris & Becca Photography.
Becca of Chris & Becca Photography tell us a little more about the inspiration behind the shoot, "Myself and Jennifer Tansley dreamed up this shoot that would be beyond romantic and airy, with a soft spring colour palette. We wanted to create something that would have a spring vibe, but without all of the bright colours we usually see."
The wedding stationery was created with beautiful gold font, rough edge paper and elegant silk ribbons.
Everything about this shoot was themed "light and airy", so even the flowers floated! Floral Designs by Justine suspended branches from the ceiling using clear fishing wire to make the flowers look like clouds above the table.
The tablescape was warm and inviting with muted tones and organic textures. The rose-tinted glassware, mushroom-toned candles, mini glass bauble terrarium favours and peach crystals all add an extra layer of pretty!
Planner Jenn of Soirees and Revelry created and styled a do it yourself cotton candy bar complete with edible glitter and dried rose petals to match the signature drinks featuring marshmallow foam created by a local distillery.
The bride was wearing a modern Watters gown with long, draping sleeves, a small train, a cutout waist detail and gorgeous embroidery reminiscent of Hungarian Kalocsai floral motifs. The hair and makeup team gave her a beautiful spring bridal makeup look and used a delicate floral and crystal crown to top off her perfectly undone hair. She had a contemporary bouquet of spring flowers featuring trendy blooms such as anthurium and gypsophila, as well as dried flowers in a soft pink and ivory colour palette finished in the most gorgeous silk ribbon.
So many gorgeous ideas! Thanks so much to Chris & Becca Photography, Soirées & Revelry and the rest of talented team for sharing your shoot with us - make sure you visit the gallery below to see even more.
