If there is one thing we have noticed over the years here at One Fab Day is that couples are getting more and more adventurous and breaking every rule in the book when it comes to venues for their big day. Warehouses, lofts and industrial style spaces are popping up regularly in weddings now and we couldn't be happier! What perfect spaces for a blank canvas style wedding. With this urban venue style in mind, we bring you our vision for a Modern Geometric Wedding Color Palette, perfect for an industrial chic soirée. A palette of muted tones of grey, green, peach and cream with subtle hints of metallics such as silver, copper and gold. A minimal and sophisticated look with a strong emphasis on geometric shapes...
How to create this look...
Style: We imagine the bridal style for this look to be a chic column style gown with modern tailoring paired with a sleek pulled back hairstyle and au natural minimal make-up.
Florals: Little blooms such as Wax-Flower and Cherry Blossom would work perfectly with this look and would give an added hint of femininity. Greens such as Succulents, Cacti, Lambs Ear give it a more geometric edge.
Stationery: For stationery choose designs with modern clean lines and bold fonts.
Decor: Bring in geometric shapes though garlands, hanging decor such as pinatas, angular terrariums and cool triangle mobiles like this great DIY one over on Sugar and Cloth. A geometric style cake completes the look.
