Marsala: Pantone's Colour of The Year 2015

Marsala - this year's trendy shade...

Pantone has recently announced that Marsala, is to be the 2015 colour of the year. An earthy and warm shade which sits nicely between a soft brown and bold berry colour. We adore this year's choice as it works wonderfully as a base colour for a palette. A versatile shade, Marsala can be complemented either by warm and rich tones and like orange, pink and yellow, or shades from the cooler end of the scale such as purples and blues. Here, we have chosen to pair Marsala with soft cream, delicate blush, warm biscuit and just a teeny-tiny hint of navy.
