Today we are delighted to present the super-special wedding day of Marie and Colm, courtesy of the photographic talents of  Magda Lukas.  Marie and Colm were recently married in the Unitarian Church on St. Stephen's Green, and afterwards celebrated in the beautiful surroundings of Airfield House in Dundrum. The style of this wedding is absolutely stunning - the use of yellow as a subtle theme is really beautifully done, and so summery. I'm sure lots of you will recognise the groom is the lovely comedian Colm O'Regan.

Marie is one stylish bride the  combination of a strapless calf-length dress, pearl necklace and a lovely birdcage veil gives her a vintage look, and those yellow heels! What can I say? Love, love, love!

The natural, almost wildflower style bouquets combining daisies, ranunculus, roses, peonies, lavender and billy buttons (plus a host more) - simply divine.

Awaiting the lady of the hour, looking oh so dapper, Colm sporting a yellow tie and lovely buttonhole to match Marie's yellow shoes and gorgeous bouquet...

My mum and dad got married in Stephen's Green (at University Church) so like Marie and Colm they stopped for photos in the park, but unlike Marie and Colm didn't have a cool wedding bus to transport them to their reception. Loving the floral decorations on the bus - the trick is in the details!

What I love about Marie and Colm's day is the little details - the flowers on the bus, the hints of yellow throughout, these wooden initial decorations. So pretty. So inspirational.

Airfield House was the home of the Overend sisters - Letitia and Naomi - for most of the 20th century. Two formidable ladies, they built up their working farm in the heart of the suburbs, and their great passion was their beautifully maintained gardens. After a big Save Airfield campaign, in Spring 1998 farming was started again, the gardens were open to the public, major renovations were carried out on the house and educational programmes began. The garden is an absolute oasis and provides an amazing backdrop to Marie and Colm's wedding reception.

One of our core beliefs at OneFabDay is that your wedding should be F.U.N. If these pics are anything to go by - Marie, Colm and all their guests had a blast -  Love and Laughter, what more could you want?

This is just a quick peek at Marie and Colm's beautiful day, their fantastic photographer Magda Lukas has lots more to see over on her blog.  Pop on over for more inspiration from a very stylish couple.

And finally Congratulations Colm and Marie!!

Edit: P.S. Marie is not just a stylish bride but a graphic designer and the brains behind design blog Lust Covet Envy - a fact I had not realised. All that attention to lovely detail makes so much sense now
