When the daffodils started sprouting at the beginning of March I started thinking about a wedding inspired by the daffodil and the colours of spring. Green, yellow and white is such as lovely combination - so fresh and cheering.
And as luck would have it, it's taken me until Paddy's Day to prepare. It's a nice concidence, these colours would also make a lovely Paddy's day wedding theme, more subtle than a full-on tricolour but definitely festive...
The dress is from the high queen of bridal fashion Vera Wang -
the green makes a lovely alternative to the usual white, cream or ivory. The gorgeous matching green tie can be found in Thomas Pink on Dawson st.
Invitation is from Paisley Tree Press and the little daffodil hairband for a flowergirl (you couldn't make a bridesmaid wear it seriously) is from HeyMimie on Etsy. The candles are from Ikea and Zarahome.
The lanterns pic comes courtesy of Stylemepretty and the daffodil bouquet is from Martha Stewart Weddings.
Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone, have fun drowning the shamrock...
