You know we love it when a bride throws out the rulebook on her big day, which explains why we're absolutely besotted Mandy Moore's wedding dress! The gorgeous star of This is Us married musician Taylor Goldsmith in a pampas grass-filled ceremony in her back yard in Los Angeles, and her pink, ruffled Rodarte creation was the star of the show. We've always been huge fans of pink wedding dresses, but this has to be one of our all-time favourites, so we wanted to take a little time to pour over the details, as captured by California-based photographer, Kelly Brown.
Mandy worked with California design house Rodarte to create a custom pink tulle, embroidered gown and veil, which were both heavily inspired by the romantic styles of the late 1960s and early 1970s. We can hardly cope with those ruffles, and the baby's breath hair pins are an inspired styling touch!
Gypsophila (also known as baby's breath) also featured heavily in Mandy's ceremony, via an epic floral arch.
This looks like an exceedingly stylish ceremony, and Mandy's mid-century Pasadena home was the perfect location!
You know we can't resist pampas grass! After the ceremony, Mandy, Taylor and their guests travelled across town to bespoke wedding venue The Fig House for a rustic reception, complete with a musical performance from the two newlyweds!
The glamour didn't stop at Mandy's wedding dress! Her bridal beauty look was deliciously retro, but still quite natural-looking, based around peachy, candy pinks.
What we wouldn't give to have been a guest at this gorgeous bash!
