We're bringing you an inspirational wedding shoot like you've never seen before, by an all-female group of West Cork creatives. Featuring embellished Bohemian wedding gowns, striking dried florals in autumnal hues by the creative genius of Jill Wildflower and handmade macrame designs by artist Pacie Grews, this rustic romance story was captured beautifully by Kate Bean Photography who used the sunlight to enhance this celebration of texture. Set in the magnificent surrounds of Dunowen House, Co. Cork, this shoot should serve as inspiration for anyone looking to achieve that elevated but earthy, laid-back look that oozes warmth and folksy flair.
The earthy colour palette with warm tones gives a touch of Bohemian glamour. The maroons and reds added a sultry depth to the neutral backdrops.
The palm fronds and tall pampas grass from Jill Wildflower perfectly complemented the festival vibes of the day. Rugs and blankets, adorned with woven baskets and fans, punctuated with pops of metallic tarnished gold make the decor a feast for the eyes. We also adore both the dresses, which are accented by the macrame detailing perfectly.
Kate did a wonderful job at capturing the sweet little moments; the love from these photos is palpable! The choice of dried flowers is also on trend at the moment, a great choice for sustainably-minded couples and suited this day perfectly.
The styling for the table was awash with dried flowers and macrame place mats on textured table linen, while the gold gilded cutlery next to the floral table wear give a pop of colour to the table setting.
Thank you so much to Kate Bean Photography and Pacie Grews who created these macrame designs for this gorgeous wedding shoot. And of course to models and real-life couple Ioana and Brigid who radiate love in every photo. See more of these incredible photos in our full gallery below.
