Today we have the super relaxed Real Wedding of Lynn and Eoin, who celebrated their wedding day in style with a chilled out affair at  Inishowen Gateway Hotel. A simple and classic wedding day with a touch of vintage glamour and party fun! Paula Gillespie captured the happy couple's wedding day with her natural and romantic style of photography...

So what’s your love story...We were 17 and my friend was going out with his friend so we got to know each other quite well. I asked him to my School Formal, we fell head over heels in love and the rest is history!

How did Eoin pop the question...My Granny had recently passed away, her engagement ring was left with my family, Eoin asked for the ring. It was a Tuesday and we were both off work so decided to go out for the day, we ended up in a local beauty spot in County Donegal where we spent many a summers day together, after a much enjoyed lunch we went for a paddle in the water then Eoin called me over to a little rock pool and pointed downwards and there was my Granny’s ring sparkling in the water, the rest is a blur as I was ecstatic with excitement. We went to Belfast a few days later so I could pick my own ring. I always told him never to pick my ring so it was perfect that he was able to use my Granny’s for the initial engagement!

Lynn and Eoin got married in the Long Tower Church in Derry, they had a fantastic bunch of friends and family on hand to help them make it special for their wedding day with gorgeous flowers and decor.

Party time! Lynn and Eoin embraced their chilled out side with some fun party decor and everyone's favourite...cocktails!

We love your style at One Fab Day what was the inspiration behind your wedding day? We both have very simple and classic taste with a little vintage twist and this was reflected on our wedding day, our wedding was unique as we are such relaxed and fuss free couple so this was evident throughout the entire day.

Love the introduction of the background colour in Lynn and Eoin's portraits!

What was your favourite moment of the day...The whole day was perfect although we remember really enjoying a glass of champagne after a very nerve wrecking ceremony while being driven to the photographer’s home. On arrival we were welcomed with lovely mojitos making us feel such at ease while Paula managed to capture the theme of simplicity with no formalities by taking photos as we enjoyed the company of the bridal party. Paula being very creative, then moved us on to an outside location as it was a beautiful day, there we relaxed and had a laugh wearing wellie boots before the nerves set in again as we made our way to the hotel for the reception.

Paula captured the happy couple in an elegant and natural style when photographing them outside showing all the love and romance that was in the air!

What advice would you give to brides and grooms planning their day? Our advice is don’t get too carried away and stick to your budget. We planned our wedding in 12 weeks, engaged in August 2011, married in November 2011 and the wedding was perfect, it was exactly as we wanted it to be and just as good as any wedding that took years to organise!

Congratulations to Lynn on Eoin on their wedding day!
