At the beginning of 2015 we predicted a year of luxe weddings with equally gorgeous bride, groom and wedding party style. Putting their own stamp on this enticing trend are the gorgeous Beatrix and Josh. Both effortlessly laid back Beatrix and Josh planned an understated luxe wedding with a muted palette of black and gold, subtle iridescence, chic mismatched bridesmaids and lots of champagne at the beautiful Crane Bar. Once engaged the perfectly in-tune Beatrix and Josh immediately decided they wanted to create a wedding "day/night that was special without being overly ‘weddingy’."

Trusting her closest girls Beatrix assigned them the task of choosing their own black bridesmaid dresses - which they did with an abundance of style.

Honouring her own heritage, Beatrix then asked her mum to create the wedding canopy - adding a very intimate and personal vibe to the wedding ceremony.

Echoing her bridesmaid's effortless style Beatrix chose a simple iridescent wedding dress by Rachel Gilbert, and a single vibrant rose in her hair.

To compliment the laid back cheerful atmosphere of the day Beatrix and Josh chose the luxe Crane Bar as their venue. Beatrix explains what made it the one for them..."Crane Bar was the perfect size for our guest numbers (around 75). It was also beautifully decorated, conveniently located and had the right look and feel."

Finally Beatrix and Josh's friends took on DJing duties, keeping everyone entertained until the wee hours. Beatrix and Josh then honeymooned in Bali.
