The very talented Moat Hill Photography team joined the lovebirds at Lissanoure Castle to capture every moment, and we'll just have to hum our own tunes to match. Let's take a peek!

Peter and Sarah Jayne met as they were just starting to study medicine at Trinity College, but it took almost six years for the two to get together! Just a few weeks before they finished college, Peter asked Sarah Jayne to join him for a pint at their local, The Bird Flanagan. They fell for each other, and even spent a while traveling around America, Southeast Asia, Australia and Africa before settling in Dublin!

Surviving all that travel had to be a good sign for the couple and Peter thought so too, so the proposal plotting began...We were in West Cork picking up our car, which had broken down when we had been down there 2 months earlier. Peter suggested we treat ourselves and stay in Blair’s Cove, which is such an amazing place, with spectacular views of the sea and mountains. After a delicious dinner he presented me with a gorgeous ring. I hadn’t seen it coming at all and when I turned to see him down on one knee I was absolutely stunned as well as completely over the moon.

The couple got married in St Mary’s and St Joseph's Church in Ballintoy, adding gorgeous flowers to the pews and giving guest bubbles and wands to add to the confetti!

How sweet is this ice-cream stand that the couple organised for guests after the ceremony- wouldn't Peter look great in that straw hat!

When it came to choosing the right venue. Peter and Sarah Jayne, from Castlebar and Belfast, respectively, were looking for a spot on the North coast that would be a 'rain friendly venue' for their wedding. Smart planning for an Irish wedding...The first attraction to Lissanoure Castle was its location and proximity to the North Coast. Growing up I spent my summer holidays up there and love being near the sea. The first time we visited Lissanoure it was pouring rain and we found it cosy and inviting. The mismatching furniture and decor added to its charm and the surrounding grounds were stunning. We met the manager, Sheryl, who was easy going but organised and full of helpful advice and we were sold.

Venue sorted, Sarah Jayne and Peter set about creating a day that would be colourful, fun and relaxed, incorporating musical moments that would reflect their shared love of music.

Sarah Jayne's dress by one of our favourite designers, Shannon Hoey, has such wonderful and unusual details. That collar is perfect for a seaside wedding!

The tea length dresses on both the bride and bridesmaids are so sweet and classic and these parasols are gorgeous! Looks like Sarah Jayne and Peter were glad they had a rain friendly venue on the day!

We love this bunting idea for photographs. And so simple to make!

The pair incorporated their love of music into their decor in many different ways. This table plan is such a clever idea - they used album covers of bands they liked! They also decorated the room with framed posters of song lyrics.

Sarah Jayne and Peter were happy to have a little help in the decor department. Sarah Jayne's mom took car of the stationery, and her grandmother made the bunting to jazz up the place. The couple's friends Ciara and Kieran were in charge of the music at the church and at the reception, and even bridesmaid Grainne (who was eight months pregnant!) made the cake and the bride's birdcage veil. A lovely team effort!

Sarah Jayne has great advice when it comes to photography and videography for your big day... Invest in a great photographer and if possible I would definitely recommend getting a videographer. You spend such a long time planning the day, it will absolutely fly and your photos and video are what you take home at the end of the day to remember it. We had great craic having our photos done because our photographers put us completely at ease. I’d recommend meeting your photographer before booking to discuss your ideas and making sure that you get on well together.

For their honeymoon, Sarah Jayne and Peter opted for a combination of adventure and relaxation with a trip to Borneo! Congratulations to the happy couple!
