If you're a vintage vixen then here's a date for your diary - on Sunday, October 2nd the Milk Market in Limerick will play host to Vintage Fayre's inaugural Wedding & Vintage Fayre. According to the organisers, the aim is to create an event, not just another wedding fair. This showcase event aims to inspire the contemporary bride and all lovers of vintage. The event will host approx. 40 stall exhibitors, rolling runway fashion shows, live music, makeup and hair demonstrations.
Also if you fancy being on the telly, Vintage Fayres in association with Rebecca May Weddings have been tasked by ITV’s Four Weddings to find the four brides for the upcoming Irish edition of the hit show. To audition as a bride for the show, with the winner claiming a Luxury Honeymoon Holiday, simply download an application form from the website, www.vintagefayres.ie, and then film your audition tape in the exclusive audition booth at the fayre. All applicants will receive two complimentary tickets to the fayre.
The list of exhibitors ranges from vintage clothing from Mazy May Vintage, Marion Murphy Cooney and Charlotte & Jane; to photographer Sean Curtin and Heritage Cars. For the full list of exhibitors check out the Vintage Fayre website
Tickets can be purchased online at www.vintagefayres.ie currently at a discounted price of €5, or visit the Vintage Fayres stall at the Friday & Saturday Markets at the Milk Market.
