We must admit, when we heard of a Californian bride coming to Ireland to marry her Donegal groom, our first thought was, 'But the beaches, the vineyards, the desert - why would you come to little old Ireland to tie the knot when you could have all that?' But the Wicklow Mountains certainly delivered for Jaleh & Seán, as you'll see from their beautiful wedding film by Ronan Quinn. They still got the laid-back outdoor ceremony, the stunning scenery, and even the sunshine at Kippure Estate, but they also treated their Stateside guests (and those down from Donegal!) to great food, Irish hospitality, and of course, a wild party that went on 'til the wee hours.

Jaleh tells us a little more about her and Seán's love story...
"Well I'm born and raised in Southern California in Orange County (or the OC!). Sean was born and raised in Killygordon, Donegal. After college, Sean moved out to America for work. He started in New York, but ended up getting an offer for a job out on the West Coast. He'd been living in Orange County for a few years as a computer software database developer, before we met on a dating app, OkCupid. I'd had been working as a forensic scientist for five years before meeting him.
Sean's fairly introverted, enjoys staying in and relaxing, and playing his video games. I'm somewhat extroverted and enjoy being outdoors, working out, and being out and about. And I don't drink, so it was ironic to start dating an Irishman! But we clicked immediately and fell in love. We keep each other on our toes and are always laughing!"
