With Every Good Wish - An Irish Wedding Inspiration

Chic Irish wedding inspiration, without a tri-colour in sight..

Given St. Patrick's Day is coming up on Tuesday, and that one of our core themes here at One Fab Day is the beauty of Ireland as a wedding location, it makes sense that for the week that's in it, that we are bringing you a range of specifically Irish-themed wedding inspiration. Starting us off is a sweet inspirational photoshoot led by Paul Kelly and The Wedding Crew. Inspired by the natural beauty of the Irish landscape, and that sense of romance associated with our little island, they created a beautiful rustic meets ethereal look for those of you with a taste for wild and wonderful.

The tones of the wintry woodland surrounding Boyne Hill House provided the core inspiration, with a hint of wild romance between our ethereal bride and shy groom as Paul Kelly explained: "The location at Boyne Hill House was the ultimate inspiration for this shoot. Even in winter plumage the wild Irish woodland, pasture and riverscapes of the Boyne Hill House estate provided backdrops and an environment to our shoot that was the perfect accompaniment to January's (from Morgan) inimitable natural beauty. Jordan, also from Morgan played the 'pared back' groom with ease and poise. Everyone bravely worked through the cold January day"

The wedding gowns of Sarah Foy in tones of blush pink are softer against the porcelain skin and gorgeous red hair of January the bride. Her   make up kept light and dewy, the natural kinks of her hair tamed under fine filigree hair pieces by Rangoli, or let loose under a floral crown by the Informal Florist.

The colour palette for this shoot reflects the tones of an Irish woodland in winter and early spring  - light whites, greens and rustic elements for the dessert table with a variety of cakes of formal and traditional styles by Little Bird Bakes, with contemporary

Huge thanks to Paul Kelly, Lorraine Browne and all the wedding creatives involved in putting this together. And of course to our little pal - Milla the dog, for being a top model!
