Old Hollywood Glamour meets Minimalism: Pam & Eddie

A black tie soirée featuring the chicest ivory colour palette!

Today, we're so thrilled to bring you Pam and Eddie's real wedding. What started out with a swipe right on Tinder ended up in a breathtaking, old Hollywood-inspired celebration of love. With hues of sage green, baby pink and white, this Galway wedding is a such a delight to behold. Held in the amazing Glenlo Abbey Hotel and Estate, with images captured by the wonderfully talented Ivana Patarcic, we think you'll love their wedding just as much as we do! Take a look for yourself!

So, first and foremost, we had to ask the gorgeous couple how they met because as you know by now, we're always here for a good love story! Pam tells us that their story began many moons ago, when she moved from Limerick to Galway in 2018. "The stars must have aligned, as we swiped right on Tinder! We knew instantly from our first date there was something very special and it continued to blossom," she said.

Pam's Jimmy Choos were just divine! We are big fans of the glitter pointed toe, and the studded strap to give that super glamorous feel to her look.

When it came to the proposal, we're told Eddie asked Pam's Dad for her hand in marriage before getting down on one knee. Pam tells us that the proposal came on a Sunday afternoon by Rusheen Bay, "where he had taken me for ice cream after brunch on our first ever date. It's the easiest yes I've ever said! It couldn’t have seen more perfect overlooking the scenic bay."

Bride Pam is a stylist, so it's no surprise her bridal look was drop-dead gorgeous! Her chic long sleeve gown with puddle train is by designer Suzanne Neville which she sourced at Kadee Bridal.

The couple always knew they wanted to tie the knot in Galway and had their eye on Glenlo Abbey Hotel and Estate from the very start! Pam says, "I love how the old-world charm meets contemporary elegance with this venue. 138 stunning acres of history, grandeur, gorgeous gardens, an 18th century abbey, two Orient Express carriages and other unique features, all nestled upon the shores of Lough Corrib. Our wedding planner, Kate, and team ensured a fairytale wedding day for us and our guests, magical moments of treasured memories that we will cherish forever."

The most important thing for the couple was that their families were well looked after and that their day had a touch of elegance. Pam tells us that from the beginning, "we wanted our wedding to have an elegant and classy feel to it. I wanted to incorporate my own personal style, I’m very much a neutral kind of girl and wanted our wedding to reflect that style with soft tones and textures, minimalistic with a bit of an old Hollywood feel."

We asked the couple what their advice for other engaged couples is, and they told us, "Take a step back and re-evaluate what is really important about your wedding day. After a difficult year, we just wanted to get married. Our day was better than we could ever have imagined, and has left us with the most amazing memories, but don’t waste your time stressing over every detail! It will all come together in the end and you will have the best day regardless."

The couple enjoyed a mini moon in Ireland at Ballynahinch Castle and Ashford Castle and are planning their official honeymoon for next year! Pam tells us the couple are planning a trip to Canada or the USA to, "beat the post-wedding blues".

A huge thank you the the gorgeous couple Pam and Eddie for sharing their Glenlo Abbey Hotel wedding with us, and of course to Ivana Patarcic for these dreamy wedding photos! There are more amazing images to pore over in the gallery below!
