We know our lovely readers are always on the look out for some gorgeous bridal inspiration to get those creative juices flowing and imaginations into overdrive for ideas for the big day - so we’re delighted today to feature an ahhh-mazing Country Manor styled shoot from a wonderful group of creatives based in the South West.
Taking the stunning setting of Adare Manor in Limerick as inspiration, adding a large dollop of olde worlde Downton Abbey style, the creative mind of Annie Byrne of Aislinn Events, together with some very talented wedding specialists, and the excellent eye of Kristen Booth behind the camera, this shoot is full of luxurious inspirational touches. It’s a beautiful mix of elegant and classic Irish Country Manor style.
Taking inspiration from the Adare Manor typography and blending it with a vintage book theme, Petite Paper created an individual wedding stationery suite with a medieval twist, finished off beautifully with feathers and ribbons.
The great thing about a venue such as Adare Manor is how little you have to do in terms of decor - with an interior as rich, colourful and eclectic as this there's so much for guests to see and enjoy that you can cut your budget way down...
The beautiful Kate Harris was the model chosen for this shoot and how stunning does she look as a bride? The wedding gowns were supplied by DeStafford Bridal - encompassing a variety of styles from classic fairytale to super sophisticated 30s inspired slinky satin, they have a collection to suit all tastes.
The Cloudberry Bakery supplied the very yummy dessert table goodies....
A handpainted cake, ooooh.... Our regular OFD readers will know how much we adore handpainted cakes - before Christmas we dedicated a whole post to them, a definite hot trend for brides-to-be! Sam from The Cloudberry Bakery does such an amazing job on these, so you know who to call if you want one of your very own…
And wait... whats that? A metallic cake - double swoon! Another of our fave 2012 oh-so-hip trends is Metallic Wedding Cakes. We just can't resist their shimmery finish!
While a venue like Adare Manor doesn't need anything much in terms of additional wedding decor, you can spend your savings on amazing flowers, which are essential for a venue like this. The opulence of the interior demands floral arrangements that grab your attention. It isn't easy to create such displays, but Leona Fitzmaurice Lynch of Every Occasion Florists in Tralee has done a fantabulous job on this shoot, and told me personally how much she loves to push the creative envelope, so if you're looking for a great florist in Cork, Kerry, Limerick and further afield - make sure to talk to Leona.
Want, want, want a fur coat (I know, how un-pc, but it's vintage!)
A huge thank you to all the uber-talented wedding peeps involved in this beautiful Irish Country Manor shoot for sharing their beautiful work with us, and here they all are so you know who to call...
