We love wedding venues with an industrial vibe, but styling them can be something of an intimidating task. Features like high ceilings, brick walls, exposed beams, and concrete floors look incredible, both in the flesh and in your wedding photographs, but it can be tough to make a large-scale room feel welcoming and intimate. That's why we're totally in love with this inspirational shoot by Sheena T Photography, who led a talented team of creatives in transforming the space at Pineapple Studio. The result is pretty, rustic and ever-so-subtly flamboyant, and there are some seriously chic gowns to pore over, too!
As well as decking out the venue in beautiful, maximalist florals from The Rose Hip and Berry Floral Studio, and stationery from The White Letter, the styling team from This Old Home put together two seamlessly chic bridal looks.
Look one centres around natural makeup, relaxed hair and soft lace.
The team's lovely colour palette clashes muted and vibrant purples for a really fresh look.
This wedding dress just made for dancing! It's the Cambie gown by Truvelle from Archive 12 boutique.
How pretty is this three-tiered wonder by Lily Pink Bakery!?
Look two is a little more daring, combining a red lip, a smoky eye, a rocky, contemporary gown and a boho headpiece.
This delicately embroidered gown is the Paradis dress by & For Love, styled with a Mineral Bride headpiece.
Sheena asked us to pass on her thanks to the team behind the shoot, "especially Kat for her organisational skills." They certainly nailed the romantic yet edgy look!
The icy white biker jacket is just so cool - it's vegan leather and comes from Spanish label Otaduy. At this point, we have to say a huge thank you to Sheena T Photography, Pineapple Studio, This Old Home and the whole team behind the shoot for sharing it with us! It's a beaut!
