Today's real wedding is serving us up a checklist of gorgeousness. A blush wedding dress, check! Luxe rose and berry bouquets, check! An outdoor wedding in the sunshine, check! A loved-up bride and groom, and their adorable son, check, check and check! Tony & Lan were married at the spectacular Faithlegg House Hotel with a day that carefully blended the lavish setting with laid-back details. David O'Sullivan Photography captured all the fabulous style and romantic moments, and we just know you're going to swoon over this one just as much as we did!
How adorable is Tony and Lan's son - and guest of honour - Calvin? He looks so excited to be part of the day!
This dress - this shot of it makes me gasp every time!
I just love the rich jewel tones at pretty blush accents of Lan's bouquet.
Tony tells us he proposed to Lan on a gorgeous evening by the sea, “As the golden sun set on a beautiful summer’s evening on the idyllic Copper Coast in Waterford. We were together, walking hand in hand, with the panoramic view of the ocean.” Sounds pretty blissful to us!
The couple tell us their day was even better than they’d imagined, “Early mist and clouds broke and glorious sunshine ensued, the outdoor ceremony was the most memorable experience exceeding all our expectations.”
Tony and his groomsmen looked sharp in charcoal grey three piece suits with a light blue check - each on was made to measure from Louis Copeland - the double-breasted waistcoats are a cool touch.
Obviously we've fallen in love with Lan’s blush pink lace organza wedding dress - her bridesmaids tied in with equally romantic lilac hues.
The couple worked really hard to create a balance of formality and informality on the day, paring the grand setting and gorgeous style, with games on the lawn and ice-cream on arrival for their guests.
The emotional ceremony was a highlight for the bride and groom, “The location for the ceremony was in the perfectly manicured gardens to the rear of the hotel, shadowed by a large pine tree,” Tony tells us.
Isn't Lan's vine-style hair accessory just beautiful!
The couple chose Faithlegg House Hotel as the perfect setting to host their 180 guests, “Faithlegg is an exquisite 18th Century Georgian house. The estate has amazing charm surrounded with luxury, beauty and breathtaking scenery at the foot of Minaun mountain.
These two have some top tips to pass on to other couples, “ Plan early, do not get too stressed and savour and enjoy every moment.”
The couple went all in with their four-tier naked wedding cake, “Vanilla sponge adorned with seasonal fruits and summer roses designed and made by our very good friend celebrity chef Edward Hayden.”
Lan made a change into a beautiful gold reception dress for dinner and dancing - another showstopper!
Thanks so much to this glamorous duo for sharing their day with us - and of course to David O'Sullivan Photography for sending his beautiful work our way.
