We're only a week into 2018 and we're already feeling the love with our latest real weddings. And today, we're sharing four for the price of one with this week's Saturday Selection! Whether you're planning a DIY day or a professionally styled party, considering an elopement or a big wedding will all your family and friends - today's stylish couples will show you how to do your day, your way - in four fabulous Irish wedding venues.
Their DIY Day: Áine & Ciarán
Áine & Ciarán got married in Cavan with a church ceremony followed by a chic reception at Virginia Park Lodge. The couple loved that the venue was exclusive and gave them the flexibility to put their own stamp on their day. And they did just that. The pair created lots of their own decor from the gorgeous dried flower bouquets to the Georgian window table plan - all captured beautifully by Niall Scully.
Eloping to Ireland: Nikki & Steve
Nikki & Steve live in Australia but chose to tie the knot in Kilkenny with a romantic elopement at Mount Juliet Estate, to pay homage to Steve's Irish roots. After saying their vows in Mount Juliet's idyllic walled gardens, the couple got some gorgeous shots with photographer Kathy Silke. As Nikki & Steve hadn't told either of their families they were eloping, they were both pretty nervous and excited on the day, but as you can see, it looked like a pretty special party for two.
Let's Go to the Beach: Siobhan & Emile
Siobhán & Emile got hitched by the seaside in Donegal, in a day that was fun, sweet, laid-back and all about the love. This stylish couple started their day off in their pretty hometown of Buncrana, (where photographer Wild Things Wed was greeted by lambs!) before moving across the bay to Rathmullan House, right by a gorgeous beach that made the perfect backdrop for their portrait session. The couple got the evening festivities started by joining their band on the stage to blast out the Friends theme tune - sounds like a pretty fun first dance alternative to us! See more from this fabulous wedding over on Wild Things Wed's blog.
An Old World Feel : Cliodhna & Paul
Cliodhna & Paul said 'I do' with a warm, intimate ceremony at the Church of St Martin in Drumree - in their home county of Meath. The couple, (who met through a mutual friend who is now their brother-in-law!), then headed to Farnham Estate in Cavan for a reception that was expertly styled by Vintage Affair with a romantic, old world feel. These two say their day was everything they dreamed it would be - Bronte Photography was on hand to capture all the gorgeous style and unique details.
